Motorbikes, Radios and Dancehalls (The Lonesome Stars, 2008)

$12.00 - CD

An album of original folk/bluegrass/blues written by Allen and his long time songwriting collaborator Austin 'Walkin'' Cane Charanghat.  It was performed and recorded live at Suma Studios by Paul Hamann. The Lonesome stars are a trio consisting of Tom Prebish, Walkin' Cane and Allen that was born out of countless performances at area pubs, notably the Harp where they got their start.  The 3 singers have known each other since kindergarden and dig from a deep well of varied influences. The album was rounded out by two very special guest players, Ed Kaner on fiddle and Dan Rose on banjo.  The group performs over close to 50 dates a year.
